Most picturesque locations to visit in Osaka

Osaka is a city that's full of history and culture. It has a long history as one of Japan's most important cities, and it's home to some beautiful landmarks that make it an excellent destination to visit and explore on a rented car. In this article, we'll take a look at some of the most picturesque areas in Osaka so you can decide where to go next time you're traveling there alone or with local guide tours in Osaka.

Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle is a historic castle located in the Chuo ward of Osaka, Japan. It is one of Japan's most famous and popular castles, and has been a major inspiration for anime and manga such as "Slam Dunk" and "Rurouni Kenshin".

The castle was built in 1583 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi as his military headquarters when he planned to invade Korea. However, after the death of Hideyoshi in 1598, Tokugawa Ieyasu moved into Osaka Castle instead and used it as his base during the Siege of Osaka (1614-1615). After being destroyed by fire several times over its history (including during World War II), today's modern incarnation dates back only about 100 years old with renovations completed in 1931 under Emperor Taisho who also oversaw construction on Tokyo's Imperial Palace two years later before abdicating from power due to health reasons just four months later at age 59 years old; since then both palaces have been maintained throughout each decade since then through modern renovations done regularly so they remain open today!

Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studios Japan, located in Osaka Bay, is the second most visited amusement park in Japan. It was built on the site of the Expo '70 and has since become one of Osaka's most popular tourist attractions. The park has several exclusive attractions not found at other Universal parks around the world including Harry Potter World, Minion Park and Shrek 4D! Visitors can also experience thrill rides like The Flying Dinosaur or Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure which are perfect for thrill seekers!

Universal Studios Japan is accessible via the Osaka Monorail (which stops at Universal City Station) or by bus from central Osaka's Namba Station which takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

Shinsaibashi

Shinsaibashi is a shopping district in Osaka that has a lot of shops and restaurants. The area is very popular with tourists, as it has a lot of history and is very lively. The area is also popular with locals, and it’s easy to see why. There are a lot of great restaurants here and the atmosphere is very friendly.

There are also a lot of shopping options, as the area has lots of shops selling souvenirs and other items. The area is very popular with tourists, but there are still plenty of locals who visit here. The shops are open late into the evening so it’s easy to spend an entire day here without getting bored.

Namba

Namba is a district in Osaka that's known for its shopping and nightlife. The area has many different attractions, including the Namba Parks, one of the largest park complexes in Japan. This area is popular with tourists and locals alike because it provides a variety of things to do at any time of day or night.

There are many different types of restaurants in Namba. You can find everything from traditional Japanese cuisine to Italian and Indian food. There are also several large shopping centers with stores like H & M, Uniqlo and Forever21.

Minoo Park

Minoo Park is a popular tourist attraction in the Minoh area of Osaka. It has many attractions for children, including a playground and zoo. If you're looking for beautiful scenery, this park will not disappoint!

Osaka Aquarium

The Osaka Aquarium is located on the waterfront of the Tsurumi River, and can be accessed via train or bus. The aquarium is open daily from 9:00am to 8:00pm, with extended hours during holidays and other special events. Tickets range from 1,400 yen ($13) for adults to 600 yen ($6) for children aged 6-12 years old. Children under 6 years old are free with a paying adult; however, this does not include admission into any special exhibitions or shows that may be taking place during your visit.

The aquarium features more than 30 tanks with over 10 different species of fish--including sharks! If you're looking for something really unique then definitely check out the Ocean Theater where they hold weekly performances featuring dolphins' acrobatics against an underwater backdrop created by lasers projected onto water screens surrounding them (you'll never look at dolphins quite like this again).

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Osaka

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Osaka is a popular tourist attraction that is great for kids to play and learn. It's located in Minoo Park, which is just north of Osaka Castle Park.

The center has many interactive exhibits that are fun for children as well as adults: you can build your own LEGO creations, explore the world of Ninjago (a cartoon show), try out virtual reality games or even have your photo taken with one of their life-size models!

These areas of Osaka are some of the most beautiful in Japan

Osaka Castle is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Japan, and it's easy to see why. The castle grounds are a beautiful place to walk around and explore, with ponds and gardens that make for some great photos. You can also take an elevator up to get another perspective on the area from above!

Shinsaibashi is another great area for photography because there are so many shops and restaurants packed into this small street. It's one of Osaka's most famous shopping districts so you'll find tons of stores selling clothes, accessories, gifts and more! If you're looking for some good food while visiting Shinsaibashi then don't miss out on grabbing lunch at one of its many restaurants--my favorite place here is called "Tenjinbashi-suji Arcade" which sells delicious ramen noodles!

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is easily accessible by train from either Shin-Osaka Station or Umeda Station (both are only 5 minutes away). This theme park features rides based on movies such as Harry Potter & Jurassic Park as well as cartoon characters like Snoopy & Hello Kitty!

Osaka is a beautiful city with many places to visit. If you're looking for something different, we recommend visiting one of these locations.
